Orient Shield 26 (8–24 Sep 2026)​ is the largest iteration since 1982: ~3,700 troops​ from Japan GSDF, US Army (3rd MDTF, 11th Airborne, 38th ADA, 593rd SB), and Australian Army (10th Brigade, 17th Sustain, 2nd Health Brigade). Geography spans Hokkaido (Shikaribetsu, Higashi-Naganuma), Kanto (Narashino, Asaka), Chubu, Kyushu (Kanoya), and seaborne nodes (Yokota, Yokohama North Pier, Kure, Akishima, Kushiro, Tomakomai-West).

东方之盾-26(2026年9月8–24日)是1982年开办以来规模最大一届:日本陆自、美陆军(第3多域特遣部队、第11空降师、第38防空旅、第593保障司令部)、澳陆军(第10旅、第17保障旅、第2卫生旅)合计约3700人。地域横跨北海道(矢臼别、大演习场惠庭/千岁)、关东(习志野、朝霞)、中部、九州(鹿屋),以及横田、横滨北码头、吴、入间、钏路、苫小牧西港等海空节点。

Two phases: 8–16 Sep prepare phase (cross-island ammo haul, airborne prep, logistics); 17–24 Sep operate phase (live fire, joint airhead, Typhon north-south remote linkage, HIMARS anti-ship simulation). The political novelty is not troop count but weapon footprint: Typhon stays in Japan after the drill, stored at a US base instead of leaving the archipelago.

分两阶段:9.8–9.16为作战准备(跨区弹药转运、空降准备、保障协同);9.17–9.24为作战行动(实弹、联合空降、堤丰南北远程联动、海马斯反舰模拟)。真正的新意不是人数,而是武器足迹——堤丰演习后不回国,转存驻日美军基地,半常态化嵌在日本列岛。

Typhon is not a new missile but a land-based MK-41 canister (MK70 Mod 1)​ towed by Oshkosh HET. One battery = 4 launchers × 4 cells = 16 ready missiles, plus BOC command truck, reload truck, power, crane; whole set C-17 airliftable.

堤丰不是新弹,而是MK41垂发上岸(MK70 Mod 1拖车)。一连4辆发射车×4联装=16枚待发,配指挥车BOC、装填车、电源车、吊车,全连可由C-17空运。

  • Tomahawk Block V: ~0.72 Mach, 1,800 km, INS+GPS+TERCOM+DSMAC, CEP <10 m, mid-flight retarget. Anti-land only.
  • Standard-6: ~4.5 Mach, ~460 km, dual-role AA/ASuW, quasi-ballistic anti-ship mode.
  • In OS-26: Typhon fires no live round at Kanoya; it does remote firing solution linkage with Hokkaido ranges to simulate engaging surface combatants across the Sea of Okhotsk / Tsugaru / East China Sea arc.

战术含义:从鹿屋(31°N)与北海道(43°N)两点做射击解算联动,等于把日本列岛当成一条1600公里长的陆基火力甲板,战斧覆盖朝鲜半岛全境、中国华东/华中部分内陆、俄滨海边疆区;标准-6封住对马/津轻/宗谷海峡与西太航道。

一句话:伊斯坎德尔是战术尖刺(500km内突防无敌),堤丰是战役级舰岸通用火力节点(靠战斧拉远、靠标准-6反舰)。拿战斧单弹去比9M723突防,是错维。

US Army MDTF: not firing missiles but practicing target chain fusion — linking Typhon firing solution to space/RQ/MQ/SM-6 track, running BOC under Japanese host logistics. Shows comfort with distributed land-based fires​ inside allied terrain, not just owned FOBs.

美陆军多域特遣部队:重点不在开火,而在把堤丰射击解算接入天基/空基目标链,在日军主机体内用BOC指挥车运转——体现“在盟友领土上分布式部署陆基火力”的熟练度。

GSDF: cross-island ammo haul (Kaita → Higashi-Naganuma), parallel command under own chain but common TES, airhead at Narashino, port node use at Kushiro/Tomakomai. Signals shift from static northern defense to mobile multi-front sustainment.

陆自:从中部(海田市)向北部(北海道)跨区运弹、习志野空降、钏路/苫小牧西港装卸,按“各指各链、共用交战态势”协同——从“专守北海道”转向“本州—北海道—九州机动持续”。

Australian Army: 10th Brigade embeds as land maneuver element, not observer. First time AU rotates into a Japanese-home-islands live-fire land exercise​ with US fires overhead. Indicates Canberra now trains for contingency where its soldiers receive US Typhon cover on Honshu/Hokkaido.

Weak sides visible: Typhon convoy is road-clumsy, depends on US ammo depot at Iwakuni/Hiroshima for reload; 3,700 men is symbolic vs a real corps fight; live fire absent at Kanoya means linkage not validation. Russian MoD already protested (Zakharova, 31 Aug) calling it unacceptable near Kuril approaches.

Orient Shield 26 is less a drill than a doctrine install: US Typhon becomes a semi-resident land fires node on Japanese soil, GSDF learns to host and sustain it, Australia learns to fight under its umbrella. Against this, Iskander-M remains the correct Russian counter-benchmark for the 500 km band (Hokkaido–Kuril face-off), while Typhon owns the 1,000–1,800 km band that Iskander-M tactically cannot reach without air launch.

东方之盾-26更像一次条令安装:堤丰成日本列岛半常驻陆基火力节点,陆自学“主机体保障外军火力”,澳军学“在堤丰掩护下打北端岛链”。对应地,俄方在南千岛方向仍以伊斯坎德尔-M压500km内战术带;堤丰吃下1000–1800km带,这是伊斯坎德尔-M单凭陆基够不到的层级。

The real readiness gap is not hardware — it is whether Tokyo can politically sustain foreign mid-range fires on its soil after the drill ends. OS-26 answers: yes, via “stored at US base, not withdrawn.”

真正的素养分水岭不在硬件,而在东京能否在演习结束后继续承载外军中导——东方之盾-26给出的答案是:以“转存驻日美军基地”方式留下来。
