I was lucky enough to enjoy the beauty of nature, some world travel that opened my eyes to other cultures, the growth of civil rights, breakthroughs in medicine, training & work opportunities, uncrowded national parks, having had many friends and great memories. I feel like I won the lotto being born in the U.S. In 1955.. I wish you younger generation the best. My best advice; reduce your time on social media, make and keep close friends, be content with less and develop an interest or hobby( or 2). I happen to backpack, garden and cook. The real danger is that a lot iof powerful people making AI don't want the worlds problems to be solved, they want more money and power for themselves. Just like in the industrial revolution, people invented tech that could bring more equality, but it definietly wasn't used that way to start off with. Looking at the political world that AI is coming into, and at who is inventing it, I don't have much hope for it being used for the good of all.
